£1200 and still an air con issue

Got my 2.0 147 sillyspeed from a bloke who sells liquidised stock and company assets. it was on a sorn for a year and so i assume been stood.
had various weird issues , and looking at service schedule and the 36000 mile one it saying "cam belt worn wont last" then looked at the milage .. 48000 crapped pants and booked it in to tanc barret in bewdley
i was having all sorts of weird issues
warning light failure
adjust cruise control, and sun roof opens!
radio fine for 5 mins then goes quiet and losing signal
lost selespeed posisition
air con not working
( must say the bloke they recommended to collect car charged £60 to collect, drop off and deliver back! and thats a 50 mile round trip)

there was bits missing off the air con ... the rear view mirror and fog sensor , which took a LONG time to get and fit ( 4 weeks nearly ) and by now i think tanc barrett were fed up looking at it !

so, they have done all the cam belt and variator, warning light and other resetting of memory but still has the air con fault and radio fault
they have no guages for the air con, and say
if they pull in the magneto it runs fine, so the fault is either the compressor ( if it pulls in when 12v applied that true?) or the pressure switch faulty or not enough or too much gas
so on that one, wheres the pressure switch and what should the operating pressures be.

and on the radio they say it could be the amplifier under the head lining , which may tie in with the fact i was missing the rear view mirror and fog sensor and someone had started to look at it

so , £1200 later im still not fixed and getting car back with two faults as budget is exhausted!

anyone help with the following ., a wiring diagram.. im an electrician but have no wiring diagram for the car and cant locate one)

where the pressure sensor is for the air con ?

and how hard is it to strip the roof lining out to get at this amplifier or is it under a cover? they say all sorts of stuff is up there including connnections for telephone etc

how if it happens again do i rest the memory of the selespeed and sunroof ?

any thoughts or help would be appreciated from a now poor alfa owner!

BAd news on the wiring - its not point to point, its CANBUS serial comms. Most non engine outputs emanate from the body control unit under the back seat

If you follow the pipes off the aicon compressor you will find the 4 way pressure switch.

TO find out if you have gas in it at the right pressure, go to kwik fit - if they cant fix it (and all they do is pressure test and regas) you dont pay, so worth a try.

I didnt know the 147 had an aerial amp, the 156 did, as it used the rear screen as the antenna.

Whether it does or not, I dont know, the usual fault is the plug loose at the rear of the head unit.

the plug as in aerial plug into stereo? and they have not pulledthe head lining so its worth a second opinion from WAD in wolverhampton methinks on the stereo issue as they may be thinking its there. ill see whats under the back seat as well

cheers
