Will a manual ECU reset clear limp Mode?

156 2,4 JTD 10 v shows error P1320 and clears MCSF but it reappears upon startup and remains in limp mode (this all on mechanics diagnostic machine) car back home and considering manual ECU reset - anyone think it'll work?

You can try but if the problem isn't fixed it will just come back again.

Is it post 2004? If so an EOBD diagnostic/code reader should work on your JTD.

Cam timing, cam sensor or cam belt jumped a tooth is what the code would suggest.

It could be defective connection, plug or wire for the sensor.

It could be a bad battery!

Is this the one with a wobbly crank pulley? That could be enough the alter the cam timing and cause this error.
