Improving GT ride quality on the cheap?
Right, the GT handles ok but the ride really is terrible. Its alot worse than my last BMW Msports that ran runflats and alot worse than contemporary S Line Audi's I have been in that are known to ride very poorly also.
I thought I could deal with it but at times its getting a bit much now. This is my everyday diesel, I will not be going near a track it it and I have limited funds for doing anything about it.
Any ideas from people? The GT is on 109k now. Do we agree that retaining the existing springs and swapping in some standard KYB shocks would improve things? Even with the mileage behind the suspension on my car, it does seem that alfa really cocked up the spring vs shock rates on these a bit. I am also thinking shifting to a 225 tyre from the normal alfa 215 will help things a bit but I dont really need tyres for quite a while, infact I have a second set of 215's waiting to go on!
Any advice for cheap remedies welcomed!
Need an Alfa! Cheap, cheap! Pref something older that needs a little work!
