Re: Hello - thoughts concerning TT versus GT and sat nav
Hi, If you are still considering, I would certainly recommend the GT but without the Alfa Sat Nav system. I have had my GT-JTD Q2 for about three months and love its looks, finish, cabin and of course driving it is wonderful. I hate the Sat Nav system. I cannot connect my Ipod and they do not allow for a plug in the glove box. You can only play a single CD unless you add on the changer in the boot which is still limiting in these days of ipods. Also, you have to have the CD of the country you are in, in the player. You can take it out while you are driving, but as it does not stay on a hard drive, the map is erased as soon as you turn off the engine. And I still have not figured out how to tune the radio without turning the button one stop at a time. Additional country CDs are about 230 Euros each so it gets very expensive to leave your home country. I loved seeing the replacement system from Pioneer and will definitely look into that, especially if I can also add an ipod plug in. For the price of a couple country CD maps, I can have all of Europe and a functional radio too. What a concept.
Other than that, you will love the GT.
