Help 147 T-spark

I just signed up recently and I must say that I am a very proud owner of a Alfa romeo 2.0 147 T-Spark. I haven't had any problems up untill this week. I get an occasional VDC / EBD ? ABS system failure, butit dissapears when I restart the engine.

I read in a few articles that this might be the battery. I am slo confused cause ppl are taking about sensors everywhere and I dont know what they are taking about.

Could someone please enlightened me!!

Re: 147 T-spark

firstly, welcome to the site!

it is quite possibly the battery, and as this is the easiest one to rule out, i would suggest taking the car to a local garage who should be able to give you a free battery health check, they basially measure its voltage and can tell you if its ok or not. if its not, replace it, if it is, then you may want to start talking about dodgey sensors etc... theres a lot of sensors involved tho so check the battery first!
