I'm sure I'm not the first and probably won't be the last person to head up to Autolusso after reading comments on this forum. Must say that I was not disappointed in the slightest with the service. Also had an interesting game of Alfa top trumps with another owner, comparing the bills and quirks of our Alfas.
Well worth the 100 mile round trip from London. The Health check service they offer found a few things that need doing (was expecting a lot more) and one major problem, which was fixed on the day.
I've tried a few other places closer to home Alfa specialists and independent garages (they'll remain nameless and useless imho), neither take the time or effort to point out where your car needs attention or explain why, but do think we Alfa owners have bottomless pockets so claim that a lot of unnecessary work is actually vital. Not the case at Autolusso. Despite being short-handed on Saturday, the service was impeccable and the work on my GT spoke for itself on the drive home.
However that being said, one thing that the guys did not prep me for was the silly grin I'd be sporting on the way home.
Really didn't think a few hours in the shop would have such a massive impact on my GT's performance.
Might be a bit of a drive from home, but was well worth it.
Thanks again to the guys at Autolusso.
