reason for power loss finally sorted

recently i put a post up saying that i had power loss in my alfa now i had only just brought the thing so i was annoyed wondering why it was not pulling as well as it should in low revs well here is the answer and i feel like such a dumbass

As i was driving the other day i realised something my last car was a vectra so quite a quiet car my alfa however has a nice throaty sound. This is when i realised i drive by the sound of the engine ie i know when to change gear just by listening and because my alfa is louder than my vetra was i was not putting enough revs on to get the car moving properly god i feel like a dumbass thankyou for all your advice even though it was just me being a dumbass lol

Re: reason for power loss finally sorted

hehe. You have to rev the crap out of an alfa to get the performance you require.

You will have low acceleration under 3000RPM. After this however your TS comes to life! If you look into a remap you can sort this problem out and get a much smoother (and more) power delivery!!

If you are in the UK I recommend using RED*DOT for their remap services. They supply maps to 25 companies in the UK and are the specialists.
