147 backbox tailpipe trim loose making raspy/rattling sound!

Hi guys has anyone had this Where the trim that is attached to the tailpipe on the back box becomes loose and causes a raspy rattly sound at arpund 1500rpm?

If so how did you cure it? Is it a case of a new back box or maybe just a different trim? Is is possible to weld it securley maybe?

Had a similar problem a couple of years ago but it was the back-box itself which had corroded to buggery. I couldn't retrieve the old trim piece as it was welded to the tailpipe but you can get replacements. I bought a new tailpipe and Dan at Autolusso fit it for me but a word of warning, they are SNUG and it took some considerable effort to fit it. A piece of soft wood and A LOT of hammering later it's on but you might want to cut a little off the tailpipe first.

You could see if it will weld to stop it rattling as the tailpiece cost more than the back-box.

Aside from that, how's the Q2 holding up?
