Where can I find the central locking antenna? 156 saloon
I've been trying to find out where the antenna of the remote to the central locking, of the Alfa 156 saloon 98, is located. I've found the receiver box located in the trunk. But so far I have been unable to find the antenna.
I've searched around for a bit, and found different suggestions, most seemed to indicate it was somewhere in the dash near the fuses. But I've been unable to find it. Since the car is being taken apart, it is stripped down quite a bit, so it's strange that I should have such difficulties finding a wire.
I've removed the center console, all instruments, steeringwheel cowl and fusebox cover. And no where am I able to find a single wire, which is what I've understood it's supposed to be. I'm wondering if maybe the posts I've found may be for a different model, does anyone know exactly where it should be located in the 156 saloon?
The central locking worked before it was stripped down, so it must be somewhere.
Further more, I'm hoping to be able to use this one on my new 01 Sportswagon, moving key's and immobilizer over or the circuit over... What else would be needed other than the receiver and antenna? Should the wirelooms have available at the appropriate areas?
