156 Huge Wishbone Problem
Got myself into a huge problem with my newly purchased 156 V6.
I was attempting to change the lower wishbones (which I have done on a 155) following a guide that was written by someone who is a member of this forum.
I got past splitting the balljoint stage, and about to remove the four retaining inner chassis bolts when I realised that ther person who wrote the instructions kind of missed one thing out.
Yes, you need to be able to move the driveshaft out, or them lower arms aren't budging. The situation was so bad, a mobile mechanic even gave up attempting it.
All I really need to know is how much roughly a garage would charge to do two of these - not that this is a major issue as the car can't even be moved off the drive, but at least if I can get one side done, I will put it in a garage for the other side!
P.s. - Car is a 2000 156 2.5 V6.
