high mileage JTD - to re-map or not re-map?
I have a 2.4 JTD (140) with 93,000 miles on the clock, mainly used as a mile sl*g up and down the motorway 30,000 + per year. Recent new turbo and cambelt (other than a noisy air con unit runs perfect).
I am seriously looking at getting a re-map (angel tuning highly recommended on this site!!). I plan to keep the car for at least another year.
Any idea's on whether or not this is a good move. Loads of people at work are advising against but an extra 55 BHP and no decrease in MPGs seems too good to be true. Will the clutch / gearbox / everything else break as a gesture of appreciation for the extra horses run through them...
Any advise would be greatly received,
