The re-map is my only real cost-effective option left if I want to go faster, short of ripping out the interior free of charge!
OperationAlfa's quite right, back in the day, when I bought the car I went for a 1.6 due to insurance costs. These days it's not such an issue, but I'm quite happy with the 1.6 largely due to my bigger daily commute. I do wish it was frickin faster though!
I'll make the jump to a bigger engine some day, but not until I've finished lumping the miles on this one! Plus it's a nicer alternative to the corsas/saxos/junk lads of my age usually go for
