2003 156 GTA Q2


Guys alternator has failed on my 156 gta

Been quoted 8hrs labour to replace the alternator plus cost if a recon unit

Mentioned around 650 pounds for labour is this about right

Hiya mate..

took me 5 hours to do mine.. on the floor with axle stands..

you do need to drop the subframe or its can just be squeezed out in some cases ..

but it can also sometimes be repaired in place.. if its just a regulator pack ..

good time to do antiroll bar bushes and lower wishbones if they are due..

also have you priced the alternator as new bosch ones are expensive
