As you look into the engine bay, the black pipe that is coming out of the right hand side of the engine - check it for splits, especially on the underside and around the neck. It can wear on things which are underneath. Also follow it down to the intercooler, see if it is cracked. Lots of people have posted this problem, I always suggest that it is the first thing you check for.
Black smoke = fuel not burning properly. Becuase either theres too much fuel or too little air. Also check after the MAF, just above the airbox, and follow the pipe that leads to the turbo. If this has cracked, un-metered air could be getting in or metered air could be getting out.
