Faint, constant rumbling noise
I've started to notice a faint rumbling noise in the GT. It sounds very much like a wheel bearing has gone, but had them checked out and they're fine.
Although the rumbling is like that of a failed wheel bearing, the sound doesn't actually change with speed; no tone change.
The rumbling isn't noticeable until about 25mph upwards. It doesn't change when putting it into neutral, or when engaging the clutch, and it doesn't matter whether I'm going straight ahead or a long sweeping bend etc. It's always there.
I'm guessing by the similar sound to a wheel bearing it must be a rotating part. Local mechanic mentioned the flywheel, but would assume it would be there all the time, even at a standstill or very low speed
