Airbag Seat Connector
I have the usual airbag warning light on issue and searching through past threads, the seat connector appears to be a common problem. I thought that I would remove the connector and solder the wires as a precaution anyway and as my 156 is an '04 model, it should reset itself if that is the problem?
There are three cables going into each side of the block:-
Black to black (yellow sheathing on seat side)
Grey/Blue to Brown
Grey/white to blue
Is it just a case of solder those three sets of individual wires to each other? The reason I ask is because in the connector block, the brown & blue connectors have a prong that look like they may touch a central link when the connector block is pushed together, effectively joining them. What would be the point of that?
Is there anything else I should be aware of before I start cutting wires?
