Fortunately its the one thing on my 147 that's actually quite good.
Not been jacked by anything other than the jacking points (Which have taken a battering in the last three years and three engines from me).
But the underseal is quite good. Still in tact. Even though its a 2001 car.
It will need going over this year though. Its becoming quite brittle and the sub frames and transverse arm's are rusty as anything. Some of the bolts look like they will never come out.
However mines not best aesthetically thanks to a flying open bonnet on a motorway.
Still its a work horse that does 20k a year :-) and just passed another MOT.
But its still cost me a small fortune.
I'll end up moving away from the brand because the newer generation (159 Brera) don't have decent petrol options I can LPG.
Maybe I'd head down the V6 route GT. Unsure though. Might be a bit old hat by the time I get round to it.
Probably end up with a Fiat (1.4 Turbo) or BMW straight 6.
Not that I don't want an Alfa. I do. But the next gen offerings are a bit flat.
Although Mito wouldn't be too bad. But I'm a bit bored of a hatchback...
