You know I've only done less than 2 miles today in the 156, and still I can find something good to say about it, I am quite sad however.
Although I don't smoke, it irraitated me that the cigarette lighter didn't stay in, its caused by the contacts being bent by mobile phone chargers, so I straightened the contacts and now it works fine, only it'll never get used
Any way thats how I want my 156 to be - tip top as far as I can afford....
Whilst doing this fiddling I dropped some loose change in the ashtray, for car parks etc. and it struck me how nice the operation of the outer ashtray cover is - press it gently and it glides serenely open, once more a lovely little detail.
I also love those little flat spots above the horizontal bars on the steering wheel, they are a challenge on every journey to drive without taking my hands off, except to change gear, my next car has to be a Selespeed..........What engine options are the Sele's available with?
Not that I have any ideas on ditching my 156 for a long time to come.
Saw a 159 SW today, it looks nicer than the saloon, though the guy's roof box did nothing for its looks
I hate silver cars normally, but Alfas seem to look so good silver, why is that? I don't normally like estates either but 156&159 SW's
I also saw a yellow GTV, I like sports cars and I like yellow cars, so how come.......
I loved the GTV too
I think I'm definetly starting to be an Alfisti.
