Life with a 156?
New head gasket, New cam-belt, new maf, big ends etc done, water pump, thermostat changed, the constant resetting of engine management light through **** poor electrics and now a knocking sound from the engine which by reading a few threads on here could be a bearing and a buggered car.
It may look better than a golf but it sure as hell isn't as reliable as a golf. Getting to that point of giving up on this car.
Sorry for the rant, needed a blow out. ha,ha.
I can't afford to keep putting it right ya know.
Looks dam fine though
Take it easy
I am not tenageer, Am "old" man, near 50. And I enjoy driving my Alfa 156. Before I had driving Skoda, Hyundays, Daewoo, Focus, Passat, Golf, Audi A4 old type and new one, Mercedes, Peugeot 407 etc. and 156 almost one year.
Every day I am driven to work and back abouth 100 km. And every week, 2-3 times a week, I left home in 11-12 PM and go to drive my Alfa (alone or with my son) for 15-20 km., with no aim or purpose.
Sorry, no without the aim, but with the aim to enjoy in driving, enjoy in LIFE.
