Re: Life with a 156
Mine works great - sorry guys
If you don't have any gas releasing when you push down the shraeder type valve, you have lost your gas....Where it went I cannot tell you, Take it back to the guy who said it was OK with a small leak, its clearly not, there is a lot of pressure in there, and no leak at all is the only way it will work, as it is compressed when you turn on your CC. If it had a leak it was a waste of time filling it until the leak is fixed....Except you need to fill it to find the leak....Many cars are "beyond economic repair" when the aircon goes for just this type of thing. Sorry you may have to wind down the window and listen to the sweet engine note as you drive along, every cloud has a silver lining.
