Chap said it had a couple of probs with knocks from suspension. What the hell I thought I can fix that!
My wife drove me the 60 miles to pick it up. Knocking isn't too bad but will obviously need sorted soonish!
What I didn't expect was my missus to keep passing me, at will I may add, in her Stilo 1.9JTD 115 Bhp !! Damn her Eyes!!!!!!!
Anyway after sifting through around 4 squillion threads on reasons for under power on a JTD, I'm fairly sure or hopeful!! that it's my MAF or a burst pipe.
Sooooooo tonight I disconnect my MAF ( Is that similar to a song title!!) and take the fella for a test with hopefully my missus and her GAY! Stilo an ever decreasing speck in my rear view mirror.

Well. I cleaned up the MAF. Refitted and tried a run with it disconnected. Power would just disappear around 4000rpm. Sending me lurching toward the dashbord!
Reconnected MAF and then struggled to get above 4000rpm. Power didn't drop off it just wouldn't go any further.
Red injector light was coming on around 3500rpm. Damn!
Anyone any ideas or should I just book her into an indie for a shufty??
Still going to use her just now but something is holding her back.
