Reading from the beginning I'd say you've already spent on it what you are realistically going to get from a sale. Adding this to your initial outlay you'll be well down. So, if its costing too much to run and maintain SORN it (if you can keep it somewhere). Get a cheapo low insurance runabout - anything you can run for a year, throw away, and replace. Your circumstances may well improve (optimist, me) and then you can put back onto the road a fully sorted, glorious piece of automotive engineering. These things will appreciate eventually, you've just got to ride the trough. Even if they don't you can't get performance like this for this kind of money anywhere else. Stick with it.
