Warning lights intermittent fault
1st post for me.
Bought a 147 Ti 2003 4 months back and have already spent $2,500 on the 60,000kms serviced. New timing belt, front brake pads and front rotors.
Just recently I have been having issues with the warning notifications, it comes on when there is some inertial force on the car such as I accelerate/brake/turn suddenly. I get the warning "brake light not functioning" it stays on and then a few seconds sometimes minutes later it dissapears. Both rear brake lights are functioning even whislt the error message is being displayed.
The more worrying recent message is "low oil pressure" warning. This is also comes on then dissapears. The car is driving fine. And there is plenty of oil in the car much higher than the high point on dipstick, message also appears due to inertial forces it appears (may be conincedence). The fact that the message dissapears as soon as i switch the engine off and then restart the car mean it's safe for me to drive? What should I do I'm reluctant to spend another tonne of money on the car.
Any help would be great, love the car.
