the years go on and still the Alfa sits
I have been trying to get my Alfa 156 2001 Sele going for several years and still I have no luck.
I changed the clutch and put a new gearbox (same but from a 147 I think) in myself.
I initially started the car and put the multiprog on (think a fiat based one) and pretty well as soon as I connected the pc up I have been in a dither ever since.
The selector on the dash indicated the car is in N but now when I goto start it is clearly engaged in gear.
I have put the 1/2 drive down near the actuator which in the past has dropped the car into N for me prior to replacing the accumulator in the past.
The difference is now the drive is seemingly stuck in place.
I have been told to do an end of run calibration on the free software that is available but nowhere on the screen does it indicate an end of run calibration or similar.
I am almost ready to have the car which is in great con removed from my backyard as it just all seems to hard.
Any help would be gladly accepted. Have I a clutch issue, an actuator problem or programming perhaps? I can read the current clutch fork measurement etc ok but yeah stuck and pretty well over it.
