brake and throttle earth source
Evening all, im new here so please be gentle http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
i have just got my 1st 147. Its a 2001 2l selespeed with a crisis. I got it knowing it was in limp home mode doing a max of 40mph and only up to 2nd gear. Tonight we have removed the throttle pedal and cleaned all the contacts. The readings all seem good. We have noticed though that there is no fault codes until you press the brake pedal. At this point we get (i think) p0220 and p1221 faults along with selespeed failure and motor control failure. When the brake is pressed the voltage to the throttle rises??? We are thinking this could therefore be an earth issue?? Can anyone tell me please where the throttle and brake pedal get their earths from?? Any advice appreciated as im yet to drive it and am very excited to do so http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
