It passed and MOT, well chuffed!
In the many years I have owned older cars, I have never, ever had a car pass an MOT without any work being needed, usually silly things like headlight aim, or a blown bulb somewhere! Yesterday, passed with no advisory notes, no sharp intakes of breath etc.
Was chatting top the tester, he said that modern Alfas rarely fail, most owners seem to look after them, he did say that when they do fail the main areas seem to be suspension play on the front, stuffed rear calipers, and bad emissions.
PS, at the same time a smug suit in a BMPenis failed on a whole range of things it was a 3 series with tints etc. The tester looked really pleased when he took the chap aside for a little chat about the aftermarket lights, dark tints, wheels past arches etc. I loved it. Sick - but makes he happy.
