Yep, I'll have the same decision to make in a year or so. I have decided that saloons are out for me and 2+2 coupes are the must have. I've had a Celica VVT which was superb but needed an engine with more character and lots more power. I like the idea of an RX8, but they are borderline hairdressers cars IMO (sound like hairdryers as well). There is nothing else that can come close to the GT 3.2 for looks, engine note, performance, practicality, interior design and individuality. The Brera in my opinion isn't the stunning coupe I was hoping for and it’s far too heavy. Fuel consumption is even worse than the Aresse V6, its slower round a track than the GT 3.2, and the back seats are near useless. For me, the only 2+2 coupe that ticks all the right boxes (except individuality) is a second hand M3...
…so lets hope Alfa do a new GT but a lot lighter than a Brera
