I have had my 2001 147 Selespeed for 5 months now and its the is the best car I have ever owned, as long as she is happy lol I really want to sort it out. Once again my car has put itself into 'limp mode' and there it sits
I have had the clutch calibrated, , and rechecked again just in case.
The diagnostic codes are now;
Accelerator Potentiometer P0220 No Signal
Accelerator Potentiometer track 1 P0221 No Valid Signal (would not delete)
Gearbox faults = no accelerator information, no communication between the engine and gearbox ECU (would not delete)
Lever Switch 1 No Signal
Lever Switch 1 No Signal (deleted)
The uneven take up of the drive now appears to be lack of communication between the ECU and Gearbox ECU.
The guy looking at the car has said that he is unsure of how much investigation it would take to sort but I now have the diema of if I should take the chance that he may be able to sort it within my budget, £500, or if I should start again with a fresh car.
Can anybody help as I love the car and I have just done brakes all round and general servicing but am not in the position to be able to keep spending huge amounts of money on it.
