Jerkyness is a sign of a worn clutch, it will not be possible to adjust the clutch arm to the specified position, which is 28.5 mm. Mine was actually 33 mm or something before changing the clutch.
Compared to a regular manual car the clutch needs changing earlier because of the reach of the clutch arm, not because of the actual clutch beeing completely done, just to thin.
Been there done that. Changed mine at 150.000 km, allthough it should have happened earlier, maybe 130.000, but there was not much expertise on selespeed here, so there was a lot of trial and error.
