Moaning Locking nut key just sheared

Try to get the wheel off so I could lube up the creaky suspension, the bolts where stuck on pretty tight, and then the raised part of the locking nut sheared off and is now stuck inside the bolt.

I've ordered a new key but how can I remove the male part of the old key from the bolt?

The old key must have been pretty worn though, the wheels have been off a few times recently for brakes and such, and by my calculations I was only putting down about 160-200Nm (more than should have been required I suppose, but not enough to shear a lump of metal I would have though)

This happened to me, I grabbed a friends MIG welder - Tacked a Bolt onto the centre of male Lock key - Heated it up and wiggled it about. Worked a treat, Just spray a s**t loads of WD40 when the bolt is really hot from welding. This cools before the external and shrinks to improve the wiggle.

get a 16mm socket and bash it onto the bolt head with a lump hammer, remove and buy four regular bolts to replace the locking ones for 99p each off ebay.
Few Alfa alloys are stolen these days as most Alfas have alloys so the potential market is small and Alfa people are too nice to buy dodgy wheels.
