156 1.8 Ts Strange Running On Start Up
I Have a 1.8 ts 156, which recently has developed a problem that when you start it up first thing in the morning it sounds as if it is only running on 3 cyl. Very clunky. If you give it some throttle it will clear and run properly.
It only seems to do it first thing in the morning, when it has been stood for a day or so. The rest of the day it is fine
Have had the cam belt and variator done in last 6 months, also had service 500 miles ago.
Is this the AFM problem i have been reading about on the forum.
If so how much will a new one cost, and if not what could the problem be.
When its warm it goes like stink.
