Re: petol in diesel
Don't worry too much, putting petrol in a diesel isn't all that bad (although there are a few around who will agrue otherwise). I know a few people who put petrol into a diesel engine every now and then just to clean it out apparently. Seeing as you have already drained the tank, all that you have left is what is in the pipes, and they will most likely be full of diesel anyway. You should be able to get at the fuel lines at the fuel filter, location of which I have no idea.
Personally, at this stage I'd just fill it up with diesel and drive away. It'll be a bit smoky for a bit but it'll be fine.
