I have a 10v and the brake master cylinder is done from above,at least when I changed the m/c(not the servo,just the master cylinder).
It was a while ago,but the only problem I had was with the banjo bolt washers,them little buggers don't half travel when you drop them!!
If you have limited arm movement,it may be worthwhile parking up with the drivers side by the pavement.
A little tip,before you tighten the banjo bolts,bleed as much air out of the new master cylinder as possible,or it will get into the abs pump and it is a pita to bleed that! I managed to gravity bleed my abs pump,when I had to change the pump,itself,but it took about 10/15 minutes before there were no air bubbles coming from the four pump outlets! (Was quite messy,doing it that way,too)
Oh and either you have dropped a valve,or gained 9
