from those last 2 logs I would suggest the map sensor looks good , close to atmospheric with engine off.
the maf values look high you have say 530mg/I -540mg/I instead of say 485-490mg/I
the other values look as expected with egr still functioning (the 290-340mg/I value look normal 30-40% egr opening )
the fact it was gutless with vac hose pulled tends to suggest the vnt is not stuck too far up in spool position but its still worth seeing if you can feel it hitting a stop rather than just softly stopping(as it might if crudded up with carbon in vnt ring area)
I would next test the vac pressure at the actuator end and see if it does control properly(but you might have no gauge).
you should have around -600mbar when engine running at idle(max spool 75%), switch ign off and see vac vent to zero, if it doesn't it might suggest the boost solenoid is stuck or again not reaching its min spool position(20%vnt)
for these tests you can idle and pull vac pipe on /off to achieve max travel
and observe vnt arm eng off as you pull vac to see if it opens any more (ie manually venting actuator)

here im pushing from min spool position to max spool position.(try to push further to min spool position it may go a few extra mm(if you shift some crud)
here is a vid showing some movement that can be gained from the vnt actuator bracket , if the rod travel maxes out before it hits the internal stop, a few % travel can be gained here(not many though)
here is a ruler on rod as I actuate manually(3 hands were required)
and here I tried to find a way to gauge on the car if its min spool position, a 6mm bolt or anything 6mm maybe a rod bent to suit might be easier should just fit snug in this gap
