Brave choice, but can be very rewarding, car seems ok in the pics, miles a bit high I suppose, but I would look for
evidence the cambelt has been changed recently £400 or so if not
probably would have had a new clutch by now, another £500
either the sele pump or the accumulator would have been replaced by now £300 and £100 for the parts alone
and the biggest threat is if the seals on the main shaft into the gear box have gone, which cannot be readily checked without undoing the gearbox fill plug. A leak there send the sele oil into the gearbox and lunches the bearings, frequent oil top ups result in the gearbox oil overflowing as it finds its way in there.
How can you tell any of this lot by driving? well you can't, hence the reputation, but a well maintained sele is fun and reliable.
Look how many owners the car has had and whether it has cheap tyres on, cheap tyres will mean expense has been minimised elsewhere for sure, like on the items mentioned above.
I know this sounds a bit doom and gloom, but it is an 11 year old car, and any car of that age will have things starting to wear out if not maintained fully.
