Bought mine in October, to date I've forked out for....
- New Clutch
- Slave Cylinder
- Reverse Light Switch
- Passengers side headlamp unit
- New set of front Tyres
- Replaced all the Front bulbs
- Full service
Also looks like need to replace some of the bushes, arms and also think there is a split hose or loose seal somewhere sapping power below 2000/2500 revs.
However, with every repair I make.....the GT gets better and better.
Similar story here.. Bought my GT in October, so far it has had:
1. 4 new sets of parking sensors
2. New front tyres
3. New clutch
4. New slave cylinder
5. New rear pads
6. New headlight bulbs
7. New sidelight bulbs
8. EGR Delete
11. Full service
12. Aircon service
13. Extra oil/filter change
14. New silicone lower turbo hose
15. Gbox oil change
16. Hand washed every other weekend on my driveway, waxed twice since Oct.
17. Leather cleaned and treated once, gonna do it again this weekend
18. Angelwax Vision/H2Go'd a number of times too
Just need the carpark dents removing, stone-chips repaired, then a full wash/clay/polish/wax/hard-wax treatment... Alloys need a refurb too... Then Eibach ARBs, both upper and lowers in the next 12-18 months I reckon so might as well powerflex the uppers, would like uprated shocks to help carry the wheel weight but if I'm doing that I might as well get some nice new springs on too...
At which point I'll have uprated power output from the remap, uprated handling from the suspension tweaks, so high-time to give the calipers a refurb (and powdercoat
) and fit some decent pads/discs on all four corners.. Then spend some more money on good rubber (4x Goodyear Eagles or equivalent)... At which point the diff will probably be noticeably lacking (got the standard open diff atm), so shell out for the Quaife upgrade... Might as well upgrade the clutch at that point to either a Stage 1 kit or Dual Friction...
Don't begrudge paying for any of it mind, just frustrated by the limitation of each months paycheck
