Removing guts of A and B pillars ?

Has anyone removed the guts of the A and B pillars of a Alfa 156 ?
Can you tell me how to do so ?

There is something rattling inside each (one each side) and I'd like to get to it..

Any help greatly appreciated, as I don't want to destroy neither seatbelts nor airbags

I've pulled the covers off an a-pillar to fit a hands free. I pulled, it came off. Not much else to say. Never needed to fiddle with a b-pillar in a 156, but on a GT the covering just clips on and comes away with the interior trim. The seat belt mechanism is bolted to the car, you won't wreck it.

Be very careful with the B Pillar covers! The plastic clip houses become very brittle and snap easily. Buy a cheap trim removing tool and carefully feel for the clips. It has tabs that go under the door seals - when refitted thump the seal all round to make sure it's fitted properly - they are prone to leaking and water gets under the carpets
