handling: 8 but a 10 with some tweaking
build quality: 6 still needs improvment, I don't see the brera as any more reliable or better built...just heavier and more well..German in feel, still looks italian though. IMO the GT is a better car then the Brera.
Alfa have a way to go before they are able to compete with BMW, MERC and AUDI on the little things like electrics and actual quality of interior finish although stylistically they win hands down.
engine choice, until they produce another Busso engine we are left with mostly 4 pots and a line up of diesels...the 3.2 JTS is ok..but in reality the last really special engine alfa made was the V6 in the earlier GT's
wheel drive, should be rear. end of.
however.....they do have an indefinable ''something' and I tried many cars before buying both of my GT's.
and I mean everything!
Other than the brera there was nothing out there that combined style, practicality, peformance and exclusivity the way the GT does.
and as fo the Marque, well I now love Alfa, they deliver champagne style at beer money and I feel special every time I get in it, and I look back every time i park up..
well worth some niggles in my book
time for a sunday morning drive..
