just a quickie

Just recently got my 156 (two days ago)

I bought it knowing that it needed a new bearing at the front passenger side so i phoned the nearest Alfa Romeo dealer to me and they quoted 215

Is this about the norm ? seems a lil excessive to me but i am not in the know. Do you think i would be better shopping around local garages and not the main dealer ?

It also needs new pads and discs at the back. Any suggestions as to where i may get the cheapest parts ? I think i should be able to do the pads and discs myself.

Will invest in one of these workshop manuals on cd from ebay i think.
