Centre brake light VERY DIM on my 156...

Hey Everyone

My wife was out of the car while I was parking yesterday, and she noticed that the rear centre brake light is only lighting up really dimly. Hardly at all.

I got out and she pressed the brake, and it's quite strange. The left and right brakelights are really bright.

Any thoughts on what this could be? A fuse? Problem with the alternator? If there are any electrical experts who have any ideas, or if you've had this problem, I'd love some suggestions...

Thanks everyone!

Re: Centre brake light VERY DIM on my 156...

supprises no one has helped u out on this one yet yeloop.
what ever your problem is its inside the lens itself..
u should have full power to your lens considering the 2 outer globes are bright..
i believe the hightly likely cause would be old globes that have gone black.. i would pull the rear light apart by undoing all 6 screws... and u should find the answer pretty obvious after that..
