I am going to replace the upper wishbones on my 147 t/s, I can hear & feel a chatter & I have had a prise bar in & felt the slight play in the joint.
My question is while this job is being done , is there anything else I should think about replacing whilst she's up on the ramp ? , I don't want to say to myself afterwards if only I had replaced that at the same time !, I don't mind spending a few bob on her!, but not unnecessary work .
I have priced Delphi upper at 30 & the lower 64 each , I have recently replaced the drivers side lower with a true part w/bone 36 & like it's been posted on here it was a bit tricky for the bolt holes to lign up , but got there in the end.
Any advice would be most welcome , the car is very tidy for a 2005 model , with only 55k on the clock. & is only really used as a second car , that's a shame really.

When i done the uppers on my 147 i changed the lowers, uppers, drop links and the track rod ends. They could have lasted longer but for the time it took it was easy. Just check the parts when you are in there and see what you think would need done,

Bascially anything that will need done soon do,

I also took the windscreen wash tank out and have it a good clean, easy as anytging to get out when the linining and the front suspension is in bits,
