Buying valves?

Another casualty of the timing belt fiasco. 49K miles, booked in for a service just didn't make it.

Fortunately for me the last owner phoned up and asked me if I wanted the car, so for a relatively small amount of cash I now have another Sportwagon and it is saved from the breakers yard

The head should be off tomorrow night and I will be able to assess the damage. Expecting at least all of the inlets and a few exhaust valves to be toast.

Is there a cheaper source of valves than Shop4Parts?

Re: Buying valves?

AlfaShop (in Norwich), EBSpares, ? You could also try somewhere like FPS Branches (was Ferrari's Piston Services) or your local motor factor.

You might also need some valve guides, these will crack if the valves bend a lot.
