Vibration, RPM fluctuations On Idle
I have alfa 147 model 2002; 1.6 T.Spark ; 110k Miles.
i've changed the Upper part of the Engine, i don't know what's that part name but it's the heavy upper engine block holding the camShaft, pistons, and spark plugs.
I had to change it due to another heating problem caused the water to get into the cylinder due to small cracks in the old engine Upper bock.
After replacement i had Problem with strong vibration as long as Rev's below 1.5.
if i left the pedal the RPM ampere will keep fluctuating between 400 - 800 and car will turn off in 30 seconds.
Driving in roads is OK as long as RPM above 1.5; performance is not at best, black smoke with high Rev's.
Suspecting MAF but , so tried cleaning it using carburetor cleaner which had no effect, also tried some used MAF from a nearby Garage and none mad any change while i don't know maybe all those MAF i've tried are malfunctioning.
The exhaust sensors maybe have gone faulty due to the water leaked from the water cycle into the cylinders (#2, #3).
But the fact that the Rev's strongly fluctuates during idle and Engine turns of in 30-60 seconds may points a more serious issue than sensors.
Sometime i get Low Engine pressure warning when those vibrations occurr, while i checked OIL level and it;s OK.
