Re: 3.2 V6 Blown Diffs
Beleive what you want? You are limited in the UK. To many laws, MOT's etc.
We run open exhausts, really heavy cams........damn it, in Greece without touching the motor using a TB 6mm larger than the Autodelta unit, no cats, proper Supersprint Group A exhausts, the guys run close to 300hp with ECU mapping.
I'm not sold on Supercharging. I had an M3 CSL, with AA Tuning Rotrex charger & water/alchohol injection running at 0.75bar boost.......I had an M3 Turbo, the 1st ever RHD converted car by Savspeed ever done on the globe, that killed my s/c car.
However, in SA with say close to 1bar boost, get Glenwood Motors to make up some special cams it would be OK.
If I decide to export the car, when it arrives at Jano's, as is, you will be in for one hell of a suprise, if with fitting a cat only we can bypass the MOT's(then remove it), I think, NO in fact I know it to be a fact, the s/c cars will have a problem.
The revability with the heavy cams & solid lifter conversion has to be witnessed to be beleived.
Then running a whole compression point above the UK AD cars at 11.5:1.............................in combination with all of this, you do the maths.
In total the larger than AD throttle body, induction system, no cats, higher compression, big valves, solid lifters, very wild cams gives us around 50hp more, forgot to mention bigger injectors. These are big mods & don't forget that I have a 2nd control module to run max power with high octane fuel.
The car scene is big in SA, very big. Now my twin turbo GTV6 3.4, thats well over 600hp & on 102RON fuel at 1.6bar boost we have hit 700hp.
Just for you to confirm, get onto the Active Autowerke website, look up John Christou(Monstro) & check out my M3.......400kW+....................I NEVER BS when it comes to cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
