Selespeed issue ---

Hi, I have spent most of the afternoon reading thru all the selespeed symptoms, but have not found any answer that seems to relate to my symptoms.
I just bought the car at auction and have no history of it.
I was driving it today, and it seemed to skip 2nd gear a couple tomes, then I stopped at lights and it went to neutral. It will not select any gears, when going for 1st it makes about 4 clunks like trying to select.
It will not select reverse either.
When engine off it will however select all gears no problem.
Pump engages when opening door and only kicks in every 2 changes (when engine off I can still check this).
Hooked up to alfadiag, no errors, pressure at about 48, rod was about 31, as gusted to 28.35, have run all routine calibrations, but can't complete the clutch calibration as I can't select any gear when running.
No warning lights came on....
Any ideas????

What about the pressure? How othen the pump works on idle and when ignition is on?

I supose, the problem with the cluth valve, or sensor of selecting gear on back cover of Selespeed

The ignition should be on but the engine not running when you try to calibrate the box. Plus better to have the car warmed up before trying otherwise it might fail to calibrate.
Edit - may have misunderstood your post - are you trying to do the EOL calibration of the gearbox ?

Most likely needs a new clutch. Any funny noises when driving (when it did)? But keep checking - hopefully I'm wrong because most sele problems are easier and cheaper to fix than a clutch.

Any sele fluid loss? Have you removed the gearbox fill plug to see if the gear oil is overfilled?
