How to remove the airbag connector?
What's the trick I'm missing? I wanted to mess with the steering wheel buttons (don't ask), I removed the steering wheel bolts but for the life of me couldn't unplug the connector.
As it happens I was able to just rest the airbag, still electrically connected, out of the way.
The locking mechanism for the connectors on the car frustrate the hell out of me, I can see the point of ensuring they don't shake loose, but they all vary in how they lock and I spend ages trying to get them apart. This airbag one (the one directly above the centre nut) has me completely stumped.
Or is that connector integral to the clock spring and won't come off without removing the steering wheel, instead one has to disconnect the connector from the airbag itself?
All the best
Loose - not close, compact, or tight in structure or arrangement
Lose - to part with or come to be without, as through theft, accident, negligence, etc.
