Re: Again high pressure
Samo se bazikah :-)
For a beginning get yourself a boost gauge...so that you can see what is happening with the boost levels while driving. You need to have your own, so that you can see at all times how the car behaves. Using another one for a few KM won't help you much.
And if you are planning of buying one get one from Heed-91, made by Metrika for about 120-130leva with the club discount.
Someone was getting an over boost values of almost 3.0bars on his 2.4 jtd without any problems with errors or anything.
Problems start the second the car can not control its boost levels in time and keeps the over boost for a prolonged period of time, then given in the ECU MAP. With other words, the car can not drop the turbo pressure in time to let's say 1.5Bar where it should be keeping it steady at full boost.
Playing with the turbo without knowing what you are doing is the worse you can do...
Tonight if I have the time I will try ask a few owners of tuned 2.4jtds what boost levels are they getting.
ps: I was planing of using your G-tech one of the upcoming days, but our acceleration "test track" is closed due to the arrival of the "god of war" on monday
