The old one's off, all be it in a rather destructive way. I put the puller against the end of the spindle hooked the arms over the ally housing and pulled it off. It brought a lot ( but not all ) of the rubber with it and the circular end plate. I then shaved off the remaining rubber with a stanley and cut off the inner race steel bushes with the dremel, it took ages but I wanted to be very careful not to cut into the inner spindle and create any stress concentration points in it, once it was so close to being through it was getting that blued ( very hot ) look I worked my way in from the end with a chisel. after about half an inch it fractured and was then easy to slide off.
Next episode getting on the new one. Is my lower arm a replacement? will the new bush fit? how will I get it on without resorting to a very large brummy screwdriver. Hmmmmmmm.
