GT Rear Bumper insert - why?

Hi, anyone know why the GT rear bumper has an insert on the opposite side to the tailpipe (same profile)?
Looks like a provision for a twin exit exhaust or is it a towing point?
Don't think Alfa make a twin exhaust but would interested to know if anyone (apart from Autodelta) does.

Re: GT Rear Bumper insert - why?

it's for the towing hook, which you need to screw into place. some people modify this - removing the toe-hook hole - to fit a dual exhaust system.

Re: GT Rear Bumper insert - why?

there are variants of twin/quad exhausts here

there are even details of how to remove the toe hook etc..
