ALFA ROMEO GT CLOVERLEAF
The time has come for a more practical car. As a result the GT is for sale.
An October 2008 GT in Red. Iím the second owner having purchased it from Guest Alfa Romeo, Solihull in December 2011. The car comes with a full Service History with stamps in the books and backed up with receipts from the specialist that I use for all servicing.
Information taken from V5C document:
Number of previous keepers - 1
Date of first registration - 17 October 2008
Model: GT Cloverleaf JTDM 1.9 Diesel
I have owned since 12 December 2011. I have all of the MOT receipts and Test certificates in my ownership
MOT Expires: 19 September 2015
The car currently has 35,335 miles. This might increase but not by many miles.
The car has all the standard features that you would expect which include:
Remote Central Locking;
Multi Function Steering Wheel;
Adjustable Steering Column/Wheel;
In addition it has the following features:
Rear parking sensors;
Bose car radio and single CD;
I replaced the cupholder / coin holder tray with the iPOD tray and the interface to allow a 30-pin connection (iPOD or iPhone) to play your own music (see picture);
It has the 18Ē double blade alloys. There were refurbished in December 2014 just prior to Christmas due to flaking paint and a few marks on the rims. They are perfect now without a mark on them. The car is running on Bridgestone Potenza tyres. Theses were fitted on the 15th of March (receipt provided). The milage at the time was 27,938 miles and the car now has 35,335 miles.
The car also comes with the official Alfa Romeo GT boot liner and Alfa Romeo GT specific floor mats. I have both keys for the car and both work the central locking and remote boot operation. I have fitted a detachable tower with single 7-pin wiring. Iíve only used the tow-bar for a bike rack and used it about six times.
When I got the car I had a remap carried out (carried out by NJS). This has significantly improved the economy going from an original 30 MPG to closer to the 50MPG. The car is showing approximately 48MPG which has been mostly town driving. When doing longer trips 50+MPG can be achieved.
The car has a full service history and in my time Iíve had the car serviced by N-J-S (NJS Pershore for Specialist Servicing of Alfa-Romeo, Maserati, Lancia and Fiat - DFL
). Iíve documented the services details below:
28 February 2013
12MTH/12,000 Mile service
Replaced O/S/F upper wishbone & O/S ARB Links;
Replace N/S/F A.R.B Link;
Anti-Roll Bar Link;
01 August 2013
NOTE: The cam belt was changed due to age requirement, not milage.
27 February 2014
12MTH/12,000 Mile service
Front Pad and Disk replacement;
Rear Pad and Disk replacement;
Replace both handbrake cables;
Replace O/S/F Upper wishbone.
I have taken a lot of car with this car ensuring that everything that needed to be done has been done. I make sure the car is warmed up correctly and allowed to cool down before switching off after driving.
As with most cars there are a few things to note. The car has some stone chips around the car and there are two parking marks. One of the drivers side wing done around Christmas in the dreaded supermarket carpark. The other is on the boot lid and was there when I purchased it.
The car is due its 12 month service at the end of February but really needs nothing. Anything that needed to be done has been done. I'm looking for £7,950 ono.
